One more step towards internationalization! The website of our Research Vice-president’s Office already has an English version. This enables PUCP’s contributions, capacity and research potential to be more widely disseminated among a broader and more diverse audience around the world.
With a dynamic and modern design, the new virtual website of the VRI in English -developed in collaboration with the Institutional Communications & Press Office (DCI)- provides general institutional information on the mission, purposes, achievements and infrastructure; and includes relevant news about the work and achievements of our researchers and research groups.

“A website in English is a very important instrument for the internationalization of research at our University. One of the great benefits of this platform in English, besides the acknowledgment for our work, will be the generation of new collaborative networks with universities and scholars from other regions; such as, Asia and Europe”, said Dr. Aldo Panfichi, Vice-president for Research.
According to Dr. Panfichi, the new website will allow access to more opportunities to finance research projects implemented together with other institutions abroad. “The competitive funds for research provided by the State are not yet enough on an international scale. The collaborative research of several universities will add specialists and resources to this work, a strategy that is now being developed powerfully in the world”, he added.

Continuous update
The implementation of this site in English is the first step of the VRI’s strategy to promote the dissemination of our University’s research work on the Internet. The website has a work team and a translator to update the contents continuously. In the future, it is planned to host information on the VRI also in other languages.
