The Hanseatic League of Universities, a global association of universities, conducted a global evaluation to educational institutions with impact on the world this year. Thus, MBA CENTRUM ranks first in Latin America and 44th worldwide in Ethical Value category.
The new university ranking system known as the World’s Universities with Real Impact (WURI) includes five categories: Global Top 100 Innovative Universities, Industrial Application (Top 50), Entrepreneurial Spirit (Top 50), Student Mobility and Openness (Top 50) and Ethical Value (Top 50).
This international recognition is an endorsement of the ongoing improvement we have at CENTRUM PUCP. It is part of the process to contribute and measure the impact in our graduates and that the School itself creates in our environment.”

Peer evaluation
The presidents of the universities of the Hanseatic League of Universities and candidates for WURI rankings become “Judges” in a peer review. Thus, the deans of said institutions evaluated the contending ones on the basis of criteria arisen.
“Three years ago, we made a modification in the curriculum structure of the program. We put emphasis on integrating the humanistic essence of the university into students in the program with an impact on their professional and personal lives,” says Dr. Percy Marquina, CEO at CENTRUM PUCP. “This international recognition is an endorsement of the ongoing improvement we have at CENTRUM. It is part of the process to contribute and measure the impact in our graduates and that the School itself creates in our environment” he adds.
Ongoing improvement
CENTRUM PUCP’s priority is to support and contribute with 9 sustainable development goals. As Dr. Marquina points out, the current challenge is to develop a model to measure per year the percentage of contribution in each of these goals.
“A specific aspect that we are working on is trying to identify a model to quantify the impact level we create in our environment”, he concludes.
